God the King of the Earth.

For the choir director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.

1 O ^aclap your hands, all peoples;
^bShout to God with the voice of ^{▼▼ Or a ringing cry}joy.
2 For the Lord Most High is to be ^dfeared,
A ^egreat King over all the earth.
3 He ^fsubdues peoples under us
And nations under our feet.
4 He chooses our ^ginheritance for us,
The ^hglory of Jacob whom He loves. ^{▼▼ Selah may mean: Pause, Crescendo or Musical interlude}Selah.

5 God has ^jascended ^{▼▼ Or amid}with a shout,
The Lord, ^{▼▼ Or amid}with the ^msound of a trumpet.
6 ⁿSing praises to God, sing praises;
Sing praises to ^oour King, sing praises.
7 For God is the ^pKing of all the earth;
Sing praises ^qwith a ^{▼▼ Heb Maskil}skillful psalm.
8 God ^sreigns over the nations,
God ^{▼▼ Or has taken His seat}sits on ^uHis holy throne.
9 The ^{▼▼ Or nobles
,} ^wprinces of the people have assembled themselves as the ^xpeople of the God of Abraham,
For the ^yshields of the earth belong to God;
He ^{▼▼ Lit has greatly exalted Himself}is ^aahighly exalted.
